BTS of The Fashion Show

After months of preparation and a lot of hard work, our SS18 ‘Garden of Desire| erised’ runway show went by in a flash! Now that there’s been time to reflect on the madness and success of the event, we thought we’d share some special behind the scene images taken by Baljit Singh.

The entire Mani Jassal team were in force backstage with endless accessories, safety pins and steamers on-hand. Along with the MJ team and the girl-gang of nineteen striking models, there was a plethora of hair and make up artists present to complete the SS18 looks.

Winding glossy locks were mastered by the talented team at Salon Daniel. Yasmine Lashkari, Patrick Ryan, Jasleen Banwait, Amore by Adriana, SYL Faces, Beautee Inc, Wave Goddess Studios and Doll Me Up Make Up comprised the expert army of MUAs present using Kiss products to create subtly glowing and radiant faces.

 A lot of head-to-toe quick changes meant time was of the essence and there was no room for mistakes. Side note; tulle layered skirts are not the fastest items to slip on. Thankfully the production and organisation for the event was successfully managed by Chic Events by Sonia and Magnet Creative and they were able to create smooth serenity for our mammoth forty-one look show! 

 Baljit’s beautiful analogue photos captured all of the hard work and creativity that went into putting together the SS18 showcase.
