Behind the stunning lehengas, tops and mermaid skirts lies a team of passionate designers, and creatives who poured their hearts into bringing this collection to life. From the first sketches last summer to the final photoshoot, the journey of creating Metamorphosis was a whirlwind of experimentation, fabric selection, and fine-tuning. Every piece in this collection tells a story of transformation—not just in the designs, but in the process itself.

The Birth of an Idea:

Summer of Red and Florals

It all began last summer. The design process for our new bridal collection started with an exploration of themes that celebrated transformation. The Metamorphosis collection was meant to reflect change, growth, and the beauty of evolution in all its forms. We knew we wanted something bold, fresh, and truly transformative—and that’s where our red looks and florals came into play.

Red is such a powerful color in bridal fashion—symbolizing love, passion, and strength. We chose this color as the foundation for the collection, carefully selecting shades that would pop on every skin tone and capture the attention of every bride-to-be. As for the florals? They represent new beginnings, a timeless symbol of beauty and growth. Creating those florals was no easy task, but it was an absolute labor of love. Picture hours spent meticulously sketching and testing patterns until they felt just right.

The Fabric Hunt

Once the designs were solidified, we moved onto fabric shopping. If you’ve never had to sift through endless yards of fabric, let us tell you—it’s not for the faint of heart! We spent days hunting for the perfect materials to bring the Metamorphosis vision to life.

And yes, we do normally sort through fabric by throwing them down from the second floor.

One of the stars of the collection is our signature Jaipur fabric. If you’ve seen our Jaipur mermaid skirt, you know what we mean! The rich texture, the way it drapes, and the intricate hand-stitched embroidery all come together to create a piece that’s not just a skirt, but a statement.

We even documented the journey of creating this beauty! In one of our favorite videos, you can see our team working their magic, sewing together the layers of Jaipur fabric that would later transform into this showstopper. The difference between the raw material and the finished product is nothing short of magical.

Photoshoots & Production: Bringing the Vision to Life

Now that the collection was designed and the fabrics were in hand, it was time for the real fun to begin—photoshoots! The energy on set was electric as we prepared for the e-commerce shoot. Each piece was carefully styled with matching shoes, jewelry, and accessories to create the perfect look.

One of the coolest parts of the shoot was seeing the outfits lined up, each one exuding its own unique personality. And of course, we couldn’t have done it without the incredible team who made it all happen: our photographer, videographer, makeup artist, and hair stylist. They worked tirelessly to capture the essence of the collection and ensure that every shot was flawless.

After hours of preparation, styling, and shooting, we finally had the final shots. When we looked at the images, we couldn’t help but feel proud of the journey we’d taken. From sketches to final from fabric swatches to full-blown, red-carpet-worthy looks, it was all worth it.

And we can’t wait for you to experience the collection for yourself. Each piece of the Metamorphosis collection is a tribute to the transformative power of fashion. It’s about more than just wearing a beautiful lehenga or bridal gown; it’s about feeling the change, the evolution, and the empowerment that comes with stepping into a new chapter of your life.
