THE COLLECTION REMIX! - Part 1

THE COLLECTION REMIX! - Part 1
The Mani Jassal team recreated new and interesting ensembles in the Collection Remix photoshoot earlier this month. Mani wanted to to incorporate pieces from our  four esteemed former collections, Tulum, With Love, Free Spirit and Garden of Desire. The designer wanted to showcase these lovely 'remixed' items on our very own clients and followers!
The photoshoot showcased beautiful girls from the GTA area modelling our clothing in new and exciting ways. This photoshoot brings to light that the Mani Jassal pieces are true investments that can be 'remixed' many times around.

Get to know a little about the stunning girls we got to work with below!
SHALINI
Proposal Skirt x Queen Bee Rosegold Bustier x 'With Love' Pink Mirror Dupatta
"My name is Shalini and I am a a marketing associate by day and an up and coming accessories designer by night! I am currently working on building my brand and creating brand awareness, and aspire to grow my brand into a household name. I have been following Mani Jassal since her Dark Moon collection and have always been a huge fan of her work and had wanted to work with her for such a long time, that when I saw this opportunity come up, I knew I had to be a part of it. I had such a great time shooting this gorgeous collection, and can not wait to share it with my family and friends!" -Shalini
.
BAAHAR
"If you had a name in mind for someone who’s passionate and always goes for what they love, it would be mine. Modelling is a part of who I am and it’s a way to express my creativity. It’s that simple." -Baahar
.
ELACHIKA
Proposal Skirt x Black One Shoulder Classic Top x 'With Love' Black Mirror Dupatta
"I’m an experienced analyst in the CPG industry with an educational background in business. I have a passion for the arts, especially in styling a variety of looks. As a young Tamil woman, wearing Mani Jassal designs felt empowering as it is designed by a young WOC who is breaking barriers in the Toronto and global fashion industry." -Elachika
.
TASLEEM
"I love all things fashion and beauty and entered the modelling space with the hope of helping women feel what I feel when I model, empowered and comfortable in my own body. If I’m not at a shoot you can spot me running around the city or indulging in all the amazing food Toronto has to offer.  Mani Jassal’s collection wasn’t a shoot for me - it was me living my princess moment." -Tas
.
HUMAIRA
"I am a creative individual, currently working as a graphic artist. I fought Leukemia when I was in highschool. Putting on makeup and dressing up became a channel for me to feel beautiful and most importantly, express myself. Being someone who is petite, it's very difficult to imagine having an opportunity to model for a clothing line. I want to create a platform for petite and modest fashion.
Thank-you Mani Jassal and her team for giving me a platform to start, making me feel great and disregarding the height as a requirement."- Humaira

The call for models was a huge success, as we had so many beautiful girls reach out to us to even try on these pieces. From girls with modelling experience, girls with zero modelling experience, girls of all backgrounds and shapes, girls that Mani personally found at her gym! The feedback was incredible and we want to take this time to thank everyone who reached out to us, those who modelled for us and those we would love to work with in the future!

Stay tuned for Part 2 of the Remix blogposts!

great post! This is the first time I visited here and found lots of interesting information about Indian Wedding’s attire but my favorite is lehenga. I appreciate your efforts to keep up the good work.
