The Proposal That Started It All
THE PROPOSAL THAT STARTED IT ALL
Our very own designer, Mani Jassal, lived out her true fairytale moment this past March, when her prince charming and long time love, Hark, got down on one knee and popped the question in Tulum . It was the fairy tale proposal, underneath the starry Tulum sky and above the Tulum Jungle.
On the very last day of their trip, the lovely couple went to dinner that Hark had said the hotel wanted to host for them on the rooftop patio. With the beautiful setting of palm trees, the ocean view and rose petals, they had a romantic candlelight dinner.
When the dinner was done and the stars had finally come out, Tamia's 'Into You' started playing. Hark asked Mani to dance. In the middle of the song, Hark got down on one knee and asked Mani to spend the rest of their lives together.
She said YES and the rest is history!
The inspiration for the Tulum collection came into fruition soon after. She just so happened to be wearing a new light weight linen outfit she had designed before the trip. This would be the first outfit that would be a part of the Tulum Collection. It was a digitally printed linen skirt with water coloured paintings of ranunculus flowers. The top is an asymmetrical one shoulder top with matching layers of linen flounce, making it the perfect about of feminine and flirty. It was the perfect Proposal Outfit.
