MASS EXODUS SS14

M A N I  J A S S A L's first collection was inspired by the architecture of the Taj Mahal. This collection pushes the boundaries of traditional South Asian bridal/evening wear with a combination of unconventional colours and fabrics. Innovative techniques such as laser cutting was used on luxurious cream leather. The motifs on the laser cut leather are the same motifs that one would find on the majestic murals at the Taj Mahal. The collection was showcased at her graduating year's fashion show, "Mass Exodus" at Ryerson University.
